OVERVIEW Draco Lucius Malfoy was a pure-blood wizard and the only son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. The son of a Death Eater, Draco was raised to believe strongly in the importance of blood purity. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991-1998 and was sorted into Slytherin House. During his years at Hogwarts, he became friends with Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, Pansy Parkinson, and other fellow Slytherins, but he quickly developed a rivalry with Harry Potter. He was made a prefect of his house and was a member of the Inquisitorial Squad during his fifth year, at the end of which his father was imprisoned in Azkaban following the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. Lord Voldemort charged Draco with making up for Lucius's failure, and he became a Death Eater at age sixteen, but was quickly disillusioned with the lifestyle. Draco was unable to complete his task — murdering Albus Dumbledore, which was taken over by Severus Snape — and only performed his other duties fearfully and reluctantly. He and his family defected hours before the end of the Second Wizarding War in order to avoid imprisonment in Azkaban following Voldemort's defeat. Information taken from here. GAME FIT To begin, Draco is coming in exhausted and worn out from fighting in war that almost cost his and his parent's lives. While his upbringing, and general self-serving attitude might normally mean that he wouldn't be overly kind or pleasant, the wish changes everything. He's seen enough and made too many mistakes - this is his way to protect him and his parents. He'd do anything to get his wish granted. Draco might not be a good person, but there are those he loves and being asked to be nice is small potatoes compared to what he's been asked to do in the past. When it comes to sexual intimacy, that's the easiest for him. He might not have loads of experience, but sex doesn't have to be personal, so he can he can manage that just fine. Platonic intimacy will take him some time. He's kinder to those he's close to, for example his parents and his friends, though he still doesn't treat the latter the best if they do something he doesn't like. Volunteering and random acts of kindness won't come easy, and honestly, won't really be random. He'll understand that his wish requires certain behavior on his end and he will go out of his way to fulfill the requirements. He'll find tasks that he doesn't believe are beneath him and then he'll be the grumpiest person while doing them. Draco will support a positive community out of selfish reasons, to benefit himself, but he'll still do it. In the past, Draco has let fear and his own cowardice rule his actions. Yes, he's an ass (which totally counts as a negative action) but that's something he can curb if he absolutely wants to. Which, he would, given that his behavior influences whether he gets his wish or not. However, there were times that he did horrible things because he wanted to earn his father's approval and then because he was afraid that him and his parents would be killed if he didn't do as he was told. Draco attempted to kill Dumbledore three times, once with a cursed necklace (a girl got hurt), poisoned mead (someone else got hurt), and then face to face using magic. In the last attempt, it was clear that Draco didn't really have it in him to kill anyone else. His actions were founded out of fear and ultimately, he couldn't do it. Based on the Welcome Committee's zero tolerance policy on non-consensual activities, he had broken the rules previously (drugging and attempted murder), but his reasons for it weren't out of direct malice or a deep desire to hurt and kill anyone. He understands it was wrong and he knows what it's like to have the right to choose, consent, taken from him. Draco felt that he never really had a choice - it was himself and his family or Dumbledore and it'd be the former every time. He would not do it again in the future unless coerced, because he knows the weight of those actions. He knows that when it gets right down to it, he couldn't do it. When it was done to him, he hated how weak and useless it made him feel and it gave him an acute understanding of what other people would feel like if he did that to them. He'll come into the city knowing that and will abide by the rules so that he can stay under the radar and get his wish granted. Personality can be found here. ABILITIES He'll have his own wand (not the Elder Wand) - 10 inches, made of Hawthorn wood with a unicorn hair core. It can do magic standard to canon; spells, incantations, etc. He's all adept at the following: Occlumency: Bellatrix Lestrange taught him Occlumency to prepare him for his mission and it was said that because Draco had already shut down his compassion to become the bully he was, it was much easier for him to close his mind and disassociate from his emotions. Potions: Favoritism helped push him ahead and he was able to pass his O.W.L. examination in the subject with high marks. Defense Against the Dark Arts: He advanced to the N.E.W.T. level class, meaning he achieved high marks on his O.W.L. exam. Non-verbal magic: Draco excelled in non-verbal spells before his sixth year which included blocking jinxes non-verbally; this takes a lot of skill and concentration to do. Miscellaneous: Transfiguration, charms, unforgivable curses, and magical repair.
